J. Joseph Hewett, M.D.

Dr. Hewett is a graduate of the University of Californa San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and his sub-specialty fellowship training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Hewett established the first specialty practice for the treatment of venous disorders in Western Maryland. He as lectured on the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, deep venous thrombosis and congenital venous disorders. Dr. Hewett is a past proctor for training in EVLT. He brings his extensive experience in treating cosmetic and debilitating venous disorders to South Coast Vein Care.
