Michael A. Arata, M.D.

Dr. Arata is a board certified Phlebologist and Interventionalist. He is a graduate of UCSF Medical School. Dr. Arata completed residency at Duke University Medical Center and sub-specialty fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Former Director of Endovascular Therapy at Hoag Hospital performing the first endovenous ablation there in 2001. Dr. Arata subsequently has developed an office based practice with locations in Los Angeles and Orange County. Dr. Arata is respected for his expertise in the treatment of vein disorders lecturing across the country including Vascular Grand Rounds at the Mayo Clinic. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology and was selected for membership in the American Venous Forum in 2006.
