One of the most important parts of taking care of venous disorders is the ability to use ultrasound to successfully enter the damaged vein during treatment and the ability to safely place the medical catheter in the ideal location for treatment. All of the physicians at South Coast Vein Care completed a separate one year fellowship in image guided procedures. During this year physician performed over a 1000 image guided cases using ultrasound on a daily basis. This allows us to provide not only the most advanced techniques in Orange County but also allows us to use those techniques in the safest manner possible. In addition, South Coast Vein Care is the only group in Orange County to have a physician certified in both surgery and fellowship trained in image guided procedures. This allows us to not only offer minimally invasive procedures in the office, but also surgical treatments in the operating room if the minimally invasive therapies are not successful.
